1 out of 5 time slots offered as free delivery if it builds upon an existing delivery.

A few interesting tweaks on Amazon delivery options:

More variations of available time slots for delivery have been offered over the past month vs the typical 4ish options in the past giving more flexibility to consumers.

While add to your next delivery (a faster checkout experience) has been an option for awhile now, both this visualization and ability to add an item under the $25 fast delivery threshold to an existing fast delivery is new to me. The visual reminds the consumer they are saving the $2.99 fast delivery fee if the under $25 item(s) were delivered separately, but also allows them to remember they already have a scheduled fast delivery window available to add current cart items.

Also provides consumers multiple, even faster delivery windows if they need it ahead of the next scheduled slot or want to select the environmentally friendly lower carbon delivery day for an added discount or digital credit $ amount.

As a consumer, I like having more options for delivery times but at what cost for CPG Brands on their need to be even better operationally.
