I turned 31 last week πŸŽ‚

I'm always reflective around my birthdays, and I was feeling particularly grateful this year.

One of my biggest goals last year was to go on more trips, say yes to more experiences and ACTUALLY take some time off work (easier said than done when you're self-employed!).

Fast forward and I've managed five trips across Asia and Europe this year, including a gorgeous long weekend in Copenhagen (if you haven't been, you need to!πŸ’›).

It's made me realise how important it is to make time for the things outside of work, too. It's easy to get caught up in the next project, the next opportunity or what's coming next, but what is the actual point of working so hard if you don't make time to enjoy it?

I'm incredibly grateful that freelancing has given me the flexibility to do more of the things I love, and it's something I want to continue prioritising.

A little reminder that building a career you love and a life you love should go hand in hand.

Here's to being officially in the 30s eek! ❀️
