RIP to my friend, competitor & mentor Adam Robinson who tragically passed away alongside his family in a plane crash.
Adam is an absolute titan, perhaps the GOAT of entrepreneurs in the GTM industry.
He was a passionate advocate of bootstrapping and bulldozed his way over dozens of venture-backed GTM businesses to great success. This included giving my own business a run for our money!
He had an infectious energy and an enormous heart. He will be forever remembered for being a near 1-man business to solo bootstrap from 0 to $10M ARR with RB2B.
We became close friends over the last 3 years - we traded notes on our businesses, we swapped podcasts, he sent me champagne for our exit, we went hiking in Colorado with my grandparents and I recently attended his daughter's 4th birthday party.
Adam is one of those guys you wanted to envy and be jealous of (I was). But then you met him and you realized that there was no one else who deserved it more having grinded for so many years. There was something unique, magical and very human about him.
I'll miss you buddy & I hope to find a way to honor your legacy.
Thoughts & prayers to your extended family and the broader Retention, RB2B and Moltsets teams.
