Reading this post reminded me of an analogy between Amazon’s long term sales forecasts and being self-employed (La partita IVA 😖) in Italy.
Amazon asks you to trust its sales forecasts, just like Italy asks you to trust that you’ll generate at least the same revenue next year, so you have to pay taxes in advance for the following year.
For non Italians, I swear this is real and even legal 😂
