π **5 Years at Amazon β 2 Countries, 3 Teams, 1 Incredible Journey**
Five years ago, I took a leap of faith and joined Amazon in Istanbul, Turkey. Today, I'm reflecting on a journey that has been nothing short of transformative β both professionally and personally.
πΉπ· **Chapter 1 β Istanbul (2021β2022)**
I started my Amazon career working with Turkish 3P sellers, helping them onboard onto the Amazon marketplace and adopt Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). It was an exciting time β building something from the ground up in an emerging market and watching sellers grow their businesses.
πΊπΈ **Chapter 2 β Virginia, USA (2022β2026)**
In 2022, I made the bold move across the Atlantic to Amazon's U.S. headquarters in Virginia, joining the Fulfillment, Recruitment & Development (FR&D) team. This is where I found my passion β working with Amazon Handmade sellers.
Over the next four years, I worked with hundreds of handmade sellers, helping them launch and thrive on FBA. I got to learn their businesses inside and out, meet incredibly creative artisans, and understand what it truly means to support small business owners at scale. Every seller had a unique story, and I carried those stories with me in every decision I made.
I also took ownership of the **Subscribe & Save project for the Handmade category** β a first-of-its-kind initiative β and successfully launched it in 2025. π
Along the way, I earned a **promotion**, and most importantly, I welcomed my beautiful **daughter** into the world. πΆπ
π **Chapter 3 β Strategic Initiatives (July 2026βPresent)**
This summer, I embarked on my latest chapter, joining the **Strategic Initiatives** team. I'm energized by the new challenges and opportunities ahead.
π **By the Numbers:**
π 2 countries
π’ 4 organizations
π₯ 5 managers
π€ 3 teams
π 5 years
This journey has taught me that growth happens when you embrace change, say yes to the unknown, and never stop learning. Every transition β whether it was moving across continents or switching teams β pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me better.
I'm endlessly grateful to every manager, teammate, seller, and artisan who has been part of this ride. And I'm so excited to see what the next chapter holds.
Here's to the next 5! π₯
