I'm excited to announce that I’m launching a scalpcare brand. And it's going to be huge.

I can't believe that I am writing those words right now.

AHHH.

Over the last year, I've been pouring my time and money into a new project that I believe is going to disrupt the skincare category.

The entire thesis is this:

The scalp is skin.

As a bald woman (by choice!), that's how I've always seen mine. It's skin I see, touch, and care for every day.

But when I look for products to care for it, so much of what's out there is about hair. Growing it, thickening it, keeping it.

I wanted skincare for my scalp.

At first, I thought this was a problem for baldies like me. Then I realized: we ALL have scalp skin. Why aren't we all thinking about how to care for it?

It has its own microbiome. It deals with sweat, friction, and varying amounts of exposure to the elements. It has needs of its own, whether or not there's hair growing from it.

Skincare has expanded to nearly every inch of the body. But the scalp is still largely treated through the lens of hair.

The category sees hair. I see skin.

That's what we're building around. Skincare formulated specifically for the scalp.

I'll be building in public here on LinkedIn because:

(1) I want to give other women founders visibility into what it takes to build a beauty brand. Developing products, finding manufacturers, investing your own money, and making decisions you've never had to make before. I'll share what I'm learning as I go.

(2) I'll soon be assembling a team. I want to meet people who care about what I'm building and want to be part of it.

(3) I'm an influencer and my fiancé is probably TOP 10 in the world at LinkedIn... this is like the collab of the century right here 😂

I've been working on this quietly for a long time. I'm so excited to finally start sharing it.

Follow along!
