Their agency walked. One person took the book.

Which sounds like the opening line of a disaster story.

A US health and supplements brand. Their external advertising agency transitioned off the account, and the entire Sponsored Ads book landed on one mid-level specialist. Roughly five years' experience.

What the client's own quarterly review recorded:

→ DSP efficiency up 116% (T-ROAS 2.2x to 4.75x)

→ Monthly DSP spend down 57%, $189K to $80K

→ DSP sales UP over the same window, $338K to $383K

→ TACoS held at 22%, inside their sub-28% target

Spend down 57% while sales go up isn't magic. It's one person with enough time to find the audiences that were buying customers the brand already owned, and switch them off.

Nobody carrying 20 accounts finds that.

Rated 5/5 overall, 10/10 on likelihood to retain.

The part I keep chewing on: mid-level. Not the priciest person on the market.

P.S. What's the most you've ever saved by cutting spend rather than adding it?
