I still can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm a paid influencer now and I'm building my own business. That was my answer to my ex-boss from my 9-5 who asked how I was doing.
18 months ago, I wouldn't have believed it either. I left my corporate job in Georgia and needed a job in the Netherlands.
Banking and fintech were all I knew.
LinkedIn wasn't even part of the plan.
I tried DMs, but they weren't working.
I posted my takes on well-known cases on LinkedIn.
Then I discovered Favikon, a platform that ranks creators by influence.
I became #1 in Banking & Consulting in the Netherlands.
I shared it in a post.
And what a post 😂
Professionals I'd previously asked about their careers reached out for help with their LinkedIn presence.
I ran webinars and took on projects.
For very modest fees, obviously.
Now I build LinkedIn strategies for ONLY Seed to Series B fintech founders.
