Every new AI tool comes with the same hidden tax.

You spend the first week re-explaining your business. Your tone. Your pricing rules. The stuff it should never say to a customer.

Grok Bot just cut that week down to a couple of minutes.

The new Import Memory setting pulls what your old assistant already knows about you into your main bot.

The whole setup:

1. Open Settings, go to Import Memory, and copy the prompt it gives you.

2. Paste that prompt into the AI you've been using. It writes back everything it remembers about you.

3. Paste that answer into Grok Bot and hit Add to Memory.

Preferences, instructions, writing style, and the context you've built up all come along.

The operator move is hiding in step 2.

Read the answer before you paste it back. For most people it's the first time they see what their AI actually thinks it knows about them.

Cut the stale projects. Fix what's wrong. Then add the rules that matter for the business: how you name products, what needs your sign-off, which numbers never go in a customer email.

You're not just moving memory. You're cleaning it.

The GIF walks through all three steps with example data so you can see how short it is.

If the only thing stopping you from switching was the thought of onboarding a new AI from scratch, that excuse just expired.
