2027 AI prediction: Claude Code and Codex will be able to handle multi-hour computer workflows.

I don't mean “go and research this thing for me”, I mean “take over my computer screen, or spin up your own virtual machine or machines, and navigate apps and the web as if you're a human clicking around.”

We still haven't seen the ceiling of computer use.

Not even close.

99% of the people I've shown "record a skill" to had no idea the feature existed. It lets you literally record your screen and narrate a workflow, as if you're filming a quick sample video for a teammate. Except now, you're filming it for an AI agent.

Any tool you pay for that has no API is now something an AI agent can learn to operate.

Try this: take the most boring 20-minute browser task you do every week (preferably medium value, zero-to-low risk) and hand it to a computer use agent (I prefer Codex). Record a skill for it. Watch it run 1-3 times and give it edits. Run it again next month and compare.
