yesterday i sat on an industry panel with a literal microphone and somehow nobody tackled me off the stage 👀
for nine years my default setting has been pure behind the scenes mode. packing PR boxes, wrangling talent, running partnerships, crying at my laptop, etc.
then over the summer, hosting and doing fireside chats at Meta, and starting to create my own content made me clock something unexpected: i actually genuinely love being on the mic.
so jumping onto an Everyman cinema stage for my first proper panel yesterday was just the coolest full-circle moment.
getting to sit up there and yap with the GIFTA crew about turning influencer gifting into real consumer trust, with a whole room of people listening, was the best feeling.
speaking on this stuff is so much fun.
