I’ve been a bit quiet around these parts lately. Mostly because even LinkedIn can become a distraction when you’re focused on building something.
I’ve been pushing myself outside my comfort zone quite a bit lately. It’s not always fun, but I’ve found that’s where a lot of the energy and creativity comes from.
One thing that hasn’t changed is my need to be near the ocean.
I was up in San Clemente for meetings recently and, like I usually do, found a spot overlooking the water to knock out some work between meetings.
Doesn’t matter how many times I do it, a view like this never gets old. Even when the work itself gets a little boring.
I count my blessings daily. The fact that I can wake up early, get a few waves, and spend my days building Flag50 while living in paradise is something I’ll never take for granted.
There’s plenty of stress and uncertainty that comes with entrepreneurship, but I’ve learned that where you spend your time and how you spend it matters just as much as what you’re working on.
Grateful for all of it. Even the uncomfortable parts.
