I stopped posting on LinkedIn in 2023.
Apparently, I had more to say everywhere else.
Most people here know me from Amazon. Lunch with Norm, the FBA conversations, and probably the beard.
After ten years in Amazon, I’m still involved. But I’m spending less time there and more time building DragonFish Communications with Kevin King.
It’s growing faster than we anticipated.
We help businesses get more from their email lists and connect with people already looking for what they sell.
Before writing a single email, we build more than 20 research files on the brand, its customers, and competition.
I want us to understand who we’re talking to before we ask them to buy anything.
Marketing Misfits is part of DragonFish too. Kevin and I interview some of the top marketers around the world. We’re learning plenty and bringing it back to the business.
Then there’s Blind Label Cigar.
After 40 years of enjoying cigars, I wanted a community where people could ask questions without feeling stupid. Reviews, education, and good conversations.
We don’t sell cigars, and no cigar company or maker pays us.
I’m especially excited about the podcast and newsletter. Hearing people’s stories and sharing what I’m learning is something I’ve always enjoyed.
I’ll be sharing more here about what we’re trying and learning along the way.
