How much of your Amazon ads week is a task you already did last week?

For me it's a lot. Weekly reports. Search term pulls. Checking each account against its plan.

Each one used to start from a blank chat, and I'd explain the same things again every time.

Now, when I get an output I like, I do one more step before I close the chat:

"Go through everything we just did to get this. Drop the parts I said I didn't like. Write it up as a framework and save it as a skill."

Next week it's one slash command. I tell it the profile and anything new, and it runs the same workflow the same way. My weekly reporting runs from skills like this.

What that gets you:

→ The same output every week, not a new interpretation every week

→ Your corrections kept, so you stop fixing the same mistake

→ A process someone else on the team can run

How to start:

→ Pick one task you know you'll do again next week

→ Do it once in Claude, properly, with your edits

→ Ask it to save the whole process as a skill

→ Next week, run it and correct it once more

Pro tip: Use cron jobs to run skill workflows on a schedule.

Easy to create, and works every time.
