With tremendous sadness, I’m heartbroken to share that Malka Grossman a”h, whom I shared about just a few weeks ago, passed away today, on Shabbos.
In her short 19 years on this earth, Malka taught us more about life, emunah, and gratitude than many do in a lifetime.
No matter how sick she was, she never let it take away her beautiful smile. She always focused on the positive, and even through her own suffering, she was thinking about her friends who were also sick, making sure they were taken care of.
I feel so privileged to have gotten to know Malka and to have had the zechus to visit her on many occasions. Every time I came, she made sure we took a picture together.
She was always thanking Hashem, asking for Mizmor L’Sodah to be said in her zechus, even through the hardest moments.
Malka, I was so looking forward to taking our next picture at your seudas hodaah. I truly believed we’d get to celebrate that day together.
To everyone who said Tehillim, took on something, or did anything in Malka’s zechus, please know how much it meant to her. She truly appreciated every single tefillah and every act of kindness. We don’t always understand Hashem’s ways.
May the neshama of Malka bas R’ Meir have the highest of aliyos. Baruch Dayan HaEmes.
