One day soon I’ll be gone. The houses will belong to someone else. The businesses will have new names. It’s all happening and disappearing so fast. My fear of death, however, is waning, as while I’ve spent my life trying to build things that would outlast me, I now recognize I’m raising them. And that’s comforting.
