I spent years building N-gram spreadsheets. The formulas took me forever.
Last week I ran an N-gram analysis by typing one slash command.
On Episode 406 of The PPC Den Podcast, I sat down with Clément Hynaux, who runs AI for our Amazon PPC team, to show two AI skills we built: Wasted Spend and N-Gram. You drop them into Claude Code or Codex, and they interview you, run the analysis, and hand you the report. Same layout every time, so this week compares cleanly to last week.
A few things I took away:
1. Anything you do more than once should become a skill. If you put it on a schedule, the report is waiting before you even ask for it.
2. Negative keyword rules shouldn't come from a rule of thumb. The skill sets them from your own clicks per order, and tells you how many orders a rule puts at risk before you turn it on.
3. Automation isn't the same thing as AI. A rule like "8 clicks, zero orders" is just a check. AI deciding things on its own is different, and Clement doesn't do full automation. You own the results.
The line from Clement that stuck with me: "AI is a catalyser. It will make good people great, and bad people worse."
You still need a strategy first. AI just helps you do it faster.
