This week was a brutal reminder of the importance of digital security. 😬
AI found the critical PHP2Shell vulnerabilities and it serves as the latest example of 2 things:
- how dependent EVERY brand is on digital infrastructure
- how AI will make vulnerabilities & attacks a more regular occurrence
Fortunately, security researchers found these flaws first, but millions of exploit attempts were reported shortly after disclosure. 😳
Security is now about business resilience especially for midsize brands that are running more of their operations digitally and may not have in-house infrastructure resources.
