AI shopping is changing what creator content is worth. Think about two creators

AI shopping is changing what creator content is worth.
Think about two creators charging the same fee.
a) One publishes a sponsored post, drives some engagement and sales, and the campaign ends.
b) The other creates a YouTube video clearly answering a real buying question.
Months later, shoppers are still discovering it, and AI shopping assistants may even reference it when recommending products. Should those two creators be priced the same way?
Glad to contribute to Net Influencer's latest roundtable alongside 32 other industry professionals discussing whether creator rates should be standardized and made public.
My take:
Standardize the pricing framework, not the price.
For CPG brands, that means looking beyond follower counts and considering:
→ Audience fit and actual purchasing intent
→ Content quality, format, and usage rights
→ Historical conversion performance
→ Potential to drive sales long after the campaign
→ Discoverability across AI shopping assistants
At ARTAN AI, we're increasingly exploring how creator content contributes to AI product discovery, recommendation visibility, and ultimately revenue.
A video that gets cited by an AI shopping assistant doesn't automatically generate a sale. But that additional visibility is worth understanding and measuring. And I believe it deserves a place in how brands evaluate creator ROI.
Curious: Are you already accounting for AI discoverability when working with creators?
