Introducing Miles.
Something my co-founder Kit Klein and I have been building for a while now is finally real: Miles Labs is live today.
We spent 20 years building connected products families trust, at Ring, Blink, Schlage, and Trane. The best smart-home devices don’t just protect us, they put us in control: knowing everything’s okay, and that if something does come up, we’ve got it covered. But the other big thing in our lives, the car in the driveway, got left out.
So we built Miles. A smart plug that pairs with the Miles app, turning almost any vehicle into a connected car and giving families real-time location, trip details, and vehicle health in one place, plus 24/7 roadside assistance and automatic crash response when something goes wrong on the road. Miles is designed for the car already in your driveway, with a belief that families deserve better technology, and more control over their cars and data, no matter their budget or what they drive.
