Last week, I had the privilege and pleasure of being a guest on the Colombia Calling podcast, talking about the work of the Colombian Caravana and my experiences in Catatumbo as part of this year's humanitarian delegation. At a time when the situation over there is critical, it is more important than ever to raise awareness, stand in solidarity with human rights defenders, and amplify the voices of local communities.
I am grateful that my employer, Standard Life plc, provides colleagues with some time every year to dedicate to volunteering. I’m incredibly thankful to use this time toward my work as a Trustee for the Caravana, supporting a cause that means a great deal to me.
Huge thanks to Richard McColl PhD for having me and for such a great conversation.
