CEO.
Your ideal customer is costing you.
Solo Amazon Operator.
⠀
You thought they were the right audience.
Then the returns and negative reviews started telling a different story.
⠀
Wrong application.
Wrong expectations.
A product that was never designed for what they needed.
⠀
Selling to them once doesn't mean you should keep paying to find more of them.
⠀
I read those complaints for a reason.
⠀
If the same mismatch keeps showing up, I put the limitation where buyers can see it.

First bullet:
Does not work with X, Y, or Z.
⠀
Then make the images just as clear.
⠀
Not buried in A+.
Not explained after the return.
Before the purchase.
⠀
Your listing should help the right customer buy and the wrong customer move on.
⠀
That isn't talking people out of buying.
It's stopping a sale your product can't deliver on.
⠀
Update the listing for the customer you can actually serve.
⠀
An old demographic assumption doesn't deserve another quarter of refunds.
