Ten years at Amazon. New badge color. Still getting some mileage out of the original photo.
From building critical infrastructure behind AWS to helping launch and grow Amazon Braket, I’ve had the opportunity to tackle problems I couldn’t have imagined when I joined. I’m proud of what our teams have built—and especially proud of the builders and leaders I’ve helped grow along the way. They’ve shaped the leader I’ve become, too.
I’m grateful to Kevin O. for giving me my start at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Richard Moulds and Simone Severini for bringing me into Braket, helping me make the leap from classical to quantum computing. To the many teammates, mentors, and partners who have trusted, challenged, and taught me: thank you.
And to my wife, Chelcey - thank you for your support through all the growth and change. I simply wouldn’t be where I am without you!
A decade in, there’s still plenty to learn, build, and be excited about. In the words of the great Jay-Z, on to the next one!
