Attending Figma Config with Jagath Selvan gave me a fresh perspective on the future of product design.
One thing I realised is that design is not going away. It is evolving.
Features like Code Layers, Figma Make, Figma Agent, and Figma MCP show how designers can take more ownership, work faster, and get closer to building real products.
AI can help us build a working product, but building a product with a good user experience still needs design thinking.
For me, the real opportunity is not just about building faster, but about building the right things with the right user experience.
Excited to explore how these new tools will shape the future of product design!
