Allie K. Miller and I met at an investing dinner in San Francisco over 10 years ago, long before AI became such a big part of our lives.
Ever since, whenever we’re in the same city, we try to make time to see each other. This week, it was New York. It’s pretty wild to think about how much has changed since that first dinner.
There’s something special about catching up with someone who knew you before any of this, and getting to watch each other’s lives and careers unfold.
A little reminder to make the effort. Even if all you have is an hour for a walk, take it. There will always be work to do and a million reasons to reschedule. Those little pockets of time together are how friendships last a lifetime. ❤️
