Four years of leading Amazon’s participation at the Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Conference, and I continue to walk away inspired! 😌
The talent this year was exceptional. Beyond their accomplishments, what struck me most was how unapologetically themselves everyone was. As a former ROMBA Fellow for Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, it’s incredibly rewarding to now help create opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
ROMBA first put Amazon on my radar, so having Colleen Clancy join us this year was especially meaningful. She hired me into Amazon’s MBA Leadership Development Program and followed up with me until I accepted! 😂 Almost 6 years later, we finally met in person, making this conference a true full-circle moment.
I also had the privilege of speaking on a mentorship panel, which left me especially grateful for the mentors, sponsors, and coaches who have helped shape my career. The greatest lesson I’ve learned along the way? Being unapologetically myself is one of my greatest strengths. (Shoutout to you, Robert Williams! 🫶🏽)
Grateful to my Amazon colleagues and the ROMBA community for another incredible year. Here’s to continuing to open doors and lifting others up!
