We've run 60+ Amazon brand audits. If I took over your account tomorrow, this what I'd review and the order I'd review it in:
1. SKU-level P&L first.
I want to know which products actually make money after all the costs. Total sales can hide what's happening at the ASIN level.
2. Subscriptions.
Are they growing or declining? If people come back and buy again, first-order economics mean something very different.
3. Full ad audit.
Find the wasted spend before you spend MORE.
4. Time of day + day of week.
A lot of accounts waste spend in the middle of the night or super early in the morning.
5. Spend by product.
Are low-converting products getting too much of the budget?
6. Retention and LTV:CAC.
A $30 product can look mediocre on order one and still be a great business if that customer is worth $400 over two years.
By the end, you should know exactly where the account is leaking and what to fix before adding another dollar of spend.
