CEO.
Your best sales month can leave you unable to restock.
Solo Amazon Operator.
⠀
Revenue is up.
The advertising report looks great.
Everyone is pleased.
⠀
Then the factory asks for the next deposit.
⠀
Where's the money?
⠀
Some went to advertising.
Some went to discounts, fees, and returns.
Some is still tied up in products that aren't moving.
⠀
The sales happened.
That doesn't mean the cash is available.
⠀
Before I push harder, I look at what the next round of inventory requires.
⠀
What does each sale leave behind?
When will the cash arrive?
When does the supplier need payment?
Can we afford to replenish at this pace?
⠀
A profitable product can still create a cash squeeze when those dates don't line up.
⠀
Sometimes I increase spend.
Sometimes I hold it steady while we get purchasing funded.
⠀
I'm not trying to win this month's revenue screenshot.
⠀
I'm trying to keep your strongest products selling next month, too.
⠀
Growth needs enough cash to repeat.
