We recently launched Lumian Agents to handle reporting, account-health checks and reimbursement claims for Amazon sellers. Now we're watching for one sign that sellers are doing more than trying them out.
For us, that signal is a scheduled run.
Someone running an agent once might just be curious. But we've seen that when a seller schedules a job weekly, it's a job they've stopped doing themselves. They're trusting the agent to keep doing it.
The jobs they're handing over first are the boring ones. I think that makes sense, because there's a right answer and the seller can check whether the agent got there. They're repetitive jobs that need doing, even when nobody particularly wants to do them.
Sellers don't want to learn AI. It isn't their job, and getting a weekly report shouldn't require them to become good at it.
That puts a lot of the responsibility on us. Building the workflow is only part of the work, because Amazon keeps changing reports, fees and policies. A job that works today still needs upkeep if the seller's going to rely on it next week.
For now, those weekly schedules are what I'm paying attention to.
