Claude can write. It just can't write like you. Yet. You've felt it. The output

Claude can write.
It just can't write like you.
Yet.
You've felt it.
The output is fine.
Grammatically clean. On topic. Perfectly acceptable.
And completely forgettable.
It sounds like a chatbot wearing business casual.
The fix isn't a better prompt.
It's giving Claude your brand as a system it reads before it writes anything.
So I taught Claude my brand voice. Once.
✅ Who the brand is, who it's for, and what it refuses to sound like
✅ A voice guide built on before-and-after pairs, so it learns from the edges
✅ A register scale from 1 to 5 ("write this at a 3," not "make it sound like us")
✅ A visual guide it can execute, not a mood board it has to interpret
✅ A QA check it runs on its own output before handing anything back
The part that changes everything:
You build it once and upload it.
It loads automatically whenever you write brand content.
Every email, every caption, every landing page. On brand by default.
No more pasting your style rules into every new chat.
And to be clear about what this does:
It doesn't decide what to say. That's still you.
It stops the writing from sounding like it came from nobody.
Your taste, your message, your call. Executed consistently.
I've mapped the whole build into the infographic below 👇
And if you want the full build, I've put together a step-by-step Notion board.
Every phase laid out, from auditing your existing content, to writing each file, to testing the skill before it goes live.
Just let me know in the comments and I'll send you the link.
💡 PRO TIP: Save this post so the checklist is there when you sit down to build.
