2500+ attendees that traveled from over 30 countries and 200 cities to spend the day with Clay in SF.
I joined Clay ~four months ago and had no idea how involved I would be with bringing Sculpt to life. It was a wild ride and an absolute pleasure being a part of making this magic.
What you don’t see in these photos is the thousands of hours our team spent thinking through every single detail. From design choices, debating venue layouts, staffing plans and dreaming up something that no one else has done for a tech event.
You also don’t see the relationships and trust it takes for speakers to get on these HUGE stages and deliver excellent talks on top of their demanding day jobs.
I was backstage most of the day, and hearing the applause after every session, plus the texts and Slacks of appreciation rolling in, validated everything we lost sleep over.
Mustafa Khan, Bruno Estrella, Puneet Sabharwal and Varun Anand: thank you for your trust and letting me jump in as the newbie.
To the marketing, brand, and design teams I get to work with everyday: I am in awe, constantly! You all are dreamers and doers.
