Last week the 2027 Wisconsin Titan 100 honorees were announced. I'm honored to be recognized with such an incredible group of leaders. When I first heard the news, my honest thought was, “How did I get here?”.
That question has me reflecting on my dad, Ken, who founded The Utech Group in 1991. I watched him work incredibly hard through his 20s, 30s, and early 40s before really hitting his stride. Looking back, I can see how years of experience and learning shaped the leader he became, and I’m beginning to recognize that in my own journey, too.
So much of that growth happens gradually, through the work we take on, the responsibilities we grow into, and the people who help us along the way. This recognition has given me a reason to pause and appreciate how much the people in my life have shaped my path.
Mentors saw something in me before I did and nudged me toward the work I do today. My parents taught me to look for the opportunity in every challenge. My husband, Ryan, and our three boys keep me grounded. And I’m grateful to work alongside a team that shows up for our clients and for each other every day.
