Meta just shipped a frontier model.
Cheaper near the top now.
Meta launched Muse Wonder today, a model family built for personal and work agents. It's live in Meta's API with a 1M-token context window.
Artificial Analysis scored Wonder Full a 56 on its Intelligence Index. That's #2 overall, about 2 points behind Claude Opus 5.5.
The reported price is $4 per 1M tokens in and $20 per 1M out, from an OpenRouter listing. Meta hasn't published official pricing yet, and access is reportedly US-only for now.
For a long time, the top model was the only safe choice for agent work. You paid the premium because the cheaper options broke on long, messy tasks.
That gap is closing.
What a near-top model with 1M context opens up for brand owners:
1. Hand an agent your full catalog in one go instead of chunking it.
2. Load a quarter of support tickets and ask what keeps breaking.
3. Give it your whole SOP library before it touches an ops task.
Don't switch anything on a benchmark. Take one task you already run in Claude or ChatGPT, run the same prompt and files through Muse Wonder, and compare the output and the cost.
Let it win on your own work first.
