I've been saying for MONTHS that TikTok Shop momentum disappears when a brand backs off. Grooved Learning just showed how extreme that can get: about $200K a month down to $8K.

The product wasn't the problem.

The creators driving sales had moved on or been recruited by competitors. Affiliate communication slowed down. Older videos stopped converting. And there wasn't enough new content replacing them.

I see a lot of brands get this wrong about TikTok Shop. They get traction and assume the momentum will keep going.

It won't. You can’t coast on TikTok Shop.

If you want to win, you need to keep sending samples, recruiting creators, and giving them clear briefs. Study which videos drive sales, then use what you learn to guide the next batch of creator content.

Don't wait for sales to collapse before you realize your content pipeline has dried up.
