5 out of 5 text elements PASS on the Nerds Halloween pack.
That is the verdict from RHINO after auditing their 28-piece candy hero.
Seasonal packaging usually turns into a horror show on the digital shelf. Brands pile seasonal graphics and cluttered callouts onto a tiny thumbnail, and the pack count completely vanishes in the scroll. Nerds did the work upstream. When RHINO ran the audit using Cambridge University CamCAST algorithm maths and APCA contrast, the pack delivered a clean sweep:
28 (Pack Count): PASS (High clarity, exceeds AAA);
NeRds (Brand): PASS (Good clarity, exceeds AA)
PIECES (Pack Format): PASS (Good clarity, exceeds AA)
Shoppers decide in a glance. If the brand and the 28-piece count register instantly, you keep the sale instead of losing the shopper to a clearer competitor.
Prove you will reach everyone with your hero image before you sign off.
Since the firstmovr ENDCAPS awards I'm seeing more and more brands opt for glance-readable hero images for Halloween special packs. They want to win the moment on mobile.
Be more nerdy. Test your heroes. The best NERDS are RHINO-certified glance-readable.
