42.195 kilometers. 4 hours and 45 minutes. My first marathon! 🏃🏼

Yesterday in Munich, I achieved a goal I’ve had for a long time. Running a marathon was something I could hardly imagine myself doing for years.

And honestly, I’m still blown away!

The first kilometers were amazing. The atmosphere, the crowds along the route, the energy everywhere.

But from kilometer 35 onwards, things got brutal.

Heavy legs, pain, and still more than 7 kilometers to go.

From that point on, it was purely a mental battle. Accepting the pain and somehow finding a way to keep going.

What impressed me the most?

How much more is possible, even when you think you’ve already reached your limit.

Consistency, discipline, and the willingness to keep pushing, especially when things get uncomfortable, make all the difference.

And the best part: I ran alongside my wife Julia good friend Tim my colleague Justin. All four of us made it across the finish line, with incredible support along the way!

Munich, you were absolutely incredible! ❤️ Thank you MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks for this unforgettable experience!

This is a day I’ll never forget. Honestly, it couldn’t have gone any better.
