Your Amazon account has 12 open cases. Nobody's watching them.
I pulled up Seller Central the other day and ran a quick scan of open support cases.
12 cases. Flagged. Some needing immediate response.
Not for a neglected brand. For a brand with active management.
That's the problem nobody talks about.
It's not that brands ignore their cases. It's that case management depends on a human remembering to check. And humans... forget.
Here's what that actually costs you:
→ Suppressed ASINs that stay suppressed because nobody replied in time
→ Buy Box losses that compound quietly for weeks
→ Account health hits that trigger reviews you never saw coming
→ Cases that escalate because the first response window closed
The conventional fix is "assign someone to check cases daily."
But daily checks miss same-day SLAs. And whoever owns cases also owns 40 other things.
So the real question isn't who's responsible for cases.
It's whether your system catches them... or depends on someone remembering.
There's a difference between "someone is handling it" and "it's actually being handled."
Most Amazon sellers are running on the first version and calling it managed.
If a support case could go unanswered for 48 hours before anyone noticed, that's not a people problem. That's a system problem.
How are you currently making sure nothing falls through the cracks on account health?
