Being a founder has completely changed how I think about spending money on myself. ad

I’ll happily subscribe to anything that makes the business run better, ChatGPT, Claude, Granola, Google Workspace, CapCut, they’re just how Slice runs now.

But it had actually never occurred to me to think about my laptop the same way (sometimes the brain cells aren't fully brain celling).

Buying one always felt like a big one-off cost that I kept putting off because something else felt more urgent.

So when I discovered Raylo Business, a subscription for the actual device rather than just what’s running on it, well, it just made a lot of sense. Instead of digging behind the sofa to fund a new MacBook (imagine I found a few grand back there, fabulous), I’m subscribing monthly to one.

And now it’s got me thinking about my phone too.

I’ve needed a new one for ages, constant memory-full notifications, a battery that lasts approximately four hours... but I’d not really considered having a separate work phone, let alone the latest model.

With the newest iPhone Pro launch the other week, it feels like a pretty good time to start looking. I don't think I’ve ever had the latest phone before (so this is very exciting for me).

Between filming & editing content, work WhatsApp chats, emails and generally being contactable all the time, it’s probably something I should have thought about sooner. I know, work life balance, working on that.

Before I bought an older phone outright, but now I’m wondering whether that actually makes sense for me.

If you’re running a business and looking at new devices for yourself or your team, Raylo Business is worth a look.
