Making your logo pink doesn't make you a brand that supports women.
The most arrogant thing a brand can do is turn its logo pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month while its products are full of ingredients linked to the very disease it claims to care about. If you really want to support women, start with what you sell. Take the carcinogens out and build products that don't harm the women buying them.
Then look inside your own company. Are you paying your women employees fairly? Are you treating them right? When was the last time you gave them a free mammogram, real health insurance, or proper maternity leave?
Those are the questions that matter in October, and in every other month too. But it's way easier to turn your logo pink than to actually care about women.
