Your Amazon account may already have AI agents making calls you never approved.
At the Accelerate conference, Amazon opened Seller Central to AI agents. They can now run pricing, restocking, and account health monitoring without a seller ever logging in.
That is useful. It also means decisions that used to cross your desk now happen quietly in the background.
Here is the one step worth taking before you switch any of it on: write down exactly which decisions you are comfortable losing visibility into.
Repricing a slow mover might be fine to hand off. Account health alerts, probably not. If you cannot see a change being made, you cannot explain it when sales shift.
Start small. Pick one low-stakes task, watch how the agent handles it for a few weeks, and only then decide whether to widen its access.
Automation should save you time, not hide your account from you.
Which decision would you never hand off? I would love to hear it in the comments.
