Your products may be traveling more than you are. Amazon is adding more than 175

Your products may be traveling more than you are.

Amazon is adding more than 175 new FBA Export destinations, and the rollout is happening over the next 30 days.

If you already use FBA Export program, Amazon turns the new destinations on for you automatically over about 8 days, and the only ones that stay off are the countries or products you had already disabled in your settings.

Thats great news for reach, but it also means your listings could start getting international orders from markets you never planned for, which can create issues with distribution agreements, import rules, or products that were never meant to leave the US.

For a consumables brand, thats worth a look before it happens on its own, because food, supplements, cleaners, and anything with an ingredient list often runs into import rules that change country by country, and distribution agreements may limit where youre allowed to sell abroad.

Here is what you need to know about the Export settings page so you can skip the research:

1️⃣ First, go to Settings, then Fulfillment by Amazon, then Export Settings, and look at your Restricted countries list, since any destination you disabled before will show up there and stay off until you change it.

2️⃣ Second, if a specific ASIN shouldnt ship abroad, you can exclude it with the FBA Export exclusion file, which handles up to 1 million products and can be edited whenever you want.

3️⃣ Third, pull the Exportable Inventory report to see which of your products are eligible, because categories like food, supplements, and chemicals often face country-by-country import restrictions, and new ASINs only get reviewed for eligibility once a month.

One detail that makes this easier to say yes to, international buyers pay the shipping and customs duties, so theres no extra fulfillment cost on your side.

You can opt out of the program or restrict countries at any time, and for any reason, so nothing here is locked in.

You already know what goes into your product and where it’s supposed to go. You shouldn’t also need a minor in export compliance to decide where it can ship.

Hope this saves you some time. If anything in your export settings looks off, or you’re not sure what should stay enabled. Get help here: https://lnkd.in/ePYt6PCQ
