I asked a placed candidate what we do that he actually values.
I expected him to say the interviews, or the brand we matched him with.
He talked about invoices.
"With every brand that I worked for, there was always at some point some issue with the payment. We cannot pay this day. This invoice is wrong, send it again or we won't pay you. I've been making the same one for two years."
Then this.
"Getting the money on the first day of the month is a dream for anybody. Whether you need it or you don't. I've done the job, I've been rewarded, let's keep going."
Ten months, ten payments, none of them late, not one argument about a missing dollar sign.
We file that under admin. He files it under respect. He is right and we are wrong.
