Yesterday, I officially began my PhD at the University of Bradford ’s Institute of Digital and Sustainable Futures.
My research is titled:
“The Sustainability Paradox of Artificial Intelligence: Law, Equity and the Sustainable Development Goals in the Global South.”
I am grateful to be supervised by Dr Irekpitan Okukpon, PhD, FHEA and Dr Wan Rosalili Wan Rosli.
Working with them again is particularly meaningful. During my LLM, I studied the Sustainable Development Goals with Dr Ire and Cyber Law with Dr Lili. Both were excellent teachers whose insight shaped my thinking about law, technology and sustainability.
Dr Ire’s encouragement played a key role in my decision to pursue this PhD. I look forward to building on what I learned from both of them during my master’s and developing further as a researcher under their guidance.
There is much to learn and challenging work ahead.
