Year 4 at Amazon Accelerate in person. Year 5 if you count the years I joined virtually during COVID. And somehow, after all these years, a few people think I work for Amazon. 😂

I’ve even been called an “Amazon spy.” I promise, I’m just a very involved Amazon seller. 😄

But honestly, Amazon Accelerate conference has become very meaningful for me.

Yes, I love meeting sellers from around the world, learning what they’re building, sharing stories, and picking up ideas I can bring back to my award winning global tableware brand Dtocs LLC and my Sell on Amazon consulting clients at Dtocs Consulting. But one of the biggest values for me is the relationships I’ve built with Amazon teams and leaders over the years.

This year, it was especially meaningful to reconnect with Dharmesh Mehta, former VP of Worldwide Selling Partner Services, and meet Amit Agarwal, SVP of International Stores and Selling Partner Services, at Accelerate. Amazon’s 2026 conference specifically created opportunities for sellers to connect directly with leadership, share feedback, and discuss what’s ahead.

Those relationships have gone far beyond the conference floor.

Amazon teams have helped put me in rooms with Amazon activation events, senators, governors, and policymakers to talk about issues affecting small businesses like mine. I’ve also had opportunities to participate in beta testing, share direct seller feedback, and help Amazon teams understand where processes and systems can work better for entrepreneurs.

And that matters to me to give my voice a purpose with systems that promise to help small businesseses.

Because I don’t just want Amazon to work for my business. I want to be part of the conversation that helps make the ecosystem better for the thousands of other small businesses building their brands there too.

That’s what I value most about Accelerate: access, relationships, learning, and having a voice.

And then there are the fun parts, the conversations, the unexpected connections, the laughs, and the three days of way too much walking. Sharing some of my favorite photos from this year’s conference.

And a big thank you to the Amazon small business and seller teams for continuing to spotlight entrepreneurs, share our stories, create PR opportunities, and bring attention to the small brands behind the businesses. Those moments may look small from the outside, but for a growing brand on Amazon and Amazon Business, being seen everyday thousands of times can make a difference.
