"Take the men out of perimenopause" was a concept that got an immediate and resounding YES, from us and from our incredible partner Jackie Tohn.
Because it stops you in your tracks the first time you hear it. Its got that magic of being so sharp and so relatable (that "ugh, I should have thought" kind of that energy). Because as women, it feels like were all constantly getting advice about our health and our bodies from a chorus of men. And no, its not all in your head. About 70% of supplement companies making perimenopause products are run by men. Think about that.
For Ritual, a company founded and run by women, thats not good enough. So we did what we do and teamed up with our friends at Giant Spoon to make an impeccably crafted campaign (because in the words of Lexi Rodriguez, "Comedy doesn't need to look like sh*t") that highlights a real truth: there are too many male voices in womens health.
Shoutout to the best team for bringing this to life: Cassandra Scholnick, Lindsay Dahl, Katerina Markov Schneider, Tiffany Tomaszewski, Mikaela Lewis (Sprauve) and everyone at Giant Spoon. I love this campaign so much and I'm so excited that it's finally out in the world. Let me know: which piece of advice from our Women's Health Men's Choir do you find most annoying?
