I did not pack enough wardrobe for our shoot in Liverpool, so Courtney Hobbs literally gave me his own shirt.

Stepping in front of a camera is unnatural for most people.
Courtney makes you laugh, gets you completely relaxed, and suddenly you are making the best social videos of your life with stellar production values. That happens because Courtney brings genuine human warmth to the studio. He takes a real interest in the person standing in the lights, long before anyone hits record. He is endlessly generous with his time, his energy, and on this trip, his wardrobe. When I realised I was short an outfit for the shoot, he took off his long-sleeve button-up and handed it over. He told me it is his special lucky shirt, so I am expecting big things from that particular film. Friendships that bring out the best in you and make hard work genuinely fun are rare. Courtney, thank you for the laughs, the craft, and the shirt. My wife loved it. I'll be wearing it more often feeling special.
