We recently opened our Oakland storefront - BodySpec's 7th fixed location in the Bay Area and 23rd nationwide, alongside our fleet of mobile clinics.
Within the first few days, a car crashed into the storefront at midnight.
Roy and I were traveling when it happened, and we’re incredibly grateful to our team for handling the whole thing so calmly and capably. They got everything cleaned up, our landlord and property management team got the window boarded up, and we were back open and scanning later that same day. A huge thank-you to everyone who made that happen.
With a fleet of vans, we’ve occasionally had one brush up against a building. This was the first time the building was ours and the vehicle wasn’t.
Every storefront has a story. We'll certainly remember this one!
