Phenomenal experience in London at Amazon's EU Business Accelerator, having a great time at my first Amazon event in the UK! I knew flying here after Accelerate in Seattle was a good idea, and it turned out, I was right.
It’s been a fantastic follow-up to yesterday’s talk at the meetup, hosted by Vincenzo Toscano of Ecomcy. Today I had a chance to connect with many new brand owners, UK-based but selling here and in USA (among other marketplaces) and to dig into their current Amazon pain points.
It's heading into peak season for almost all sellers, so I'm set to troubleshoot sticky account issues, brand registry nightmares, fake IP complaints while every brand thinks hard about where marketplace selling is headed.
To the future, an AI future, but also a profitable one, if it's done correctly.
Naturally, there was a healthy dose of AI talks from the main stage. For many brands, the future clearly involves leaning heavily into Amazon’s evolving AI tools. Stay on top of those, and understand that Amazon expertise still exists...AI wont replace everything...yet.
So, shiny tech aside, the fundamentals haven't changed: we spent significant time breaking down tactical appeals strategy, proactive compliance, and the real, everyday threats to Account Health that can derail a business if you're not prepared.
Always energizing to talk shop with sellers who are actively navigating these shifts on the ground. Now, off to catch the sunset along the Thames!
