MAG booked 285 meetings last month and Im annoyed about it
I know how that sounds 285 brand owners said yes to a conversation about growing on Amazon
Most sales teams would frame that number and hang it on the wall
My first thought when I saw it was we should have had more
The team didnt slack
They earned every one of those meetings
My Amazon Guy runs 430 brands and over a billion in annual Amazon revenue, so we have the results and the people to back every single call
Thats exactly why the number bothers me
When you know what this company is capable of, a good month starts to feel like a missed one
The market is harder right now
Financing is tight, Amazon keeps changing the rules, and sellers are more cautious than they used to be
All true
Also not an excuse Im willing to hide behind
If the number is short, thats on me
Not the team
Not the lead flow
Not the economy
Some people will read this as ungrateful
I read it as setting the standard
The day 285 feels like enough is the day we stop growing
