CHOMPS IS CLOSING IN ON SLIM JIM

Slim Jim took nearly a century to become a $1B brand. Chomps is on track in about 15 years.

Adolph Levis and Joseph Cherry invented Slim Jim in Philadelphia in 1929 and sold it in bars up and down the East Coast. General Mills bought it for $20M in 1967.

Conagra Brands bought Slim Jim's parent GoodMark for $216M in 1998, when the company did ~$170M in sales. The meat stick has since grown past $1.1B, but sales rose just 0.5% last year.

Chomps did $35K in its first full year in 2013. Retail sales jumped 61% to $715M last year, and the brand is on track to top $900M in 2026.

Comps suggest Chomps could be valued up to $3B at 3.5x sales:

- PepsiCo acquired Siete Foods for $1.2B at 2.4x sales

- The Hershey Company acquired LesserEvil Brand Snack Co. for $750m at 4.5x sales

- Once Upon a Farm IPO’d for $724m at 3.6x sales
